R2R Position Opening

We currently have an open position at Road to Recovery for a seasoned biologist, ecologist, environmental scientist, or natural resource manager to serve as the principal connection between R2R and Species Recovery Teams. The Senior Species Recovery Specialist will share, facilitate, and promote R2R’s framework to accelerate recovery for Tipping Point bird species across diverse geographies and conservation contexts. This role sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and collaboration, supporting partners as they translate knowledge into action.

This role blends technical assistance, coordination, and communication. The Senior Species Recovery Specialist will advance innovative, inclusive approaches to conservation and ensure that evidence-based decision-making is fully embedded within R2R’s recovery framework and strategies.
