Road to Recovery, AFWA and NABCI are pleased to offer a virtual engagement session focused on bird conservation on private lands from a US State perspective. This session will feature experts from state agencies, land trusts, and private landowners who will discuss the importance of private land conservation for bird populations – and how to engage in this important work at the State level. With a significant portion of land in the US privately owned, conservation efforts on these lands are crucial for bird recovery. The session will highlight best practices, partnership building, available resources, and success stories from landowners who have implemented bird-friendly practices on their properties.
